History
History of the original design. The original Big Bang Sang Bleu emerged in 2016 from Hublot’s collaboration with tattoo artist and designer Maxime Plescia-Buchi. Rather than adding a simple decorative motif, the project translated his geometric language into the watch itself. Hublot links the first design’s proportions to Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. In 2019, Sang Bleu II extended that approach across the case, bezel, crystal, hands and strap. The progression from the first three-hand interpretation to a chronograph shows how one artistic vocabulary could reshape different watchmaking formats. This history concerns the original collection, not the manufacture, materials or performance of this replica.
